Tähtiyö huoneen valaisee katsoin pientä nukkujaa,

uni vei jo paikkaan salaiseen sinne muut ei tulla saa.

Minne saakka matka kulkee, kuinka kauas ehtiikään,

sua tänne kaipaamaan mä jään.

Yö vielä antoi tähdenlennon se sai mut toivomaan

uni veithän Heidini maahan kauneimpaan.
